My name is Tanya Lanea Carson.
I used to live in a stupid little hick town known as Clarendon. I now live in Salem, Oregon. I was born in Portland, Oregon. I have 1 older brother and 1 older sister and 1 half sister which is also older than me..I am the youngest....that really sux..
Throughout my life I have had to battle depression caused by my dad and other parts of my family. The worst time for me was when I lived in Texas. I didn't get along with anyone there because I had a different mindset than everyone else. I was made the outcast because I refused to conform with everyone else. I wanted to be an individual. I am glad I made that decision to do so because I would not be how I am today if I didn't do so.
I have lived in different places throughout my life. Places in Oregon I have lived in: Salem and near Independance...In Texas: Hedley, Clarendon, Amarillo...Oklahoma: Oklahoma City...California: San Jose.
I am a very outgoing person. I have been involved in many activities while in school...here are a few:
softball, basketball, track, band, marching band, jazz band, choir, theatre, and annual staff.
In band I play the trumpet. I have been playing since I was in the 5th grade. I have been a part of the marching band for about 4 years and jazz band 1.
I have been involved in choir related activities since I was in the 1st grade. I practice singing every night.(I hope to be famous someday..lol)
I have been participating in theatre activities since I was in the 5th grade. I have performed in 2 plays while in Texas. The first one was "Children Of A Lesser God",(I played the part of Lydia) and the other one was the musical "Oklahoma!"(I played the part of Ellen)
When I was in Junior High I participated in my church's mime group...yes...I know what you are thinking...but c'mon...I was young!!lol
I have been a drummer since I was about 8. I was in my first band when I was 13. It was called "Contrast".
*~*~*Lo! Who is that, running along the mountains! It is Xenadrummergurl, hands clutching a meaty axe! She cries apocalyptically:
"Brace yourself, oh human speck of dust! I plunder like a four-year-old on a sugar rampage!!!"
*~*~*Hark! Who is that, sprinting amidst the mountains! It is Tanya, hands clutching an oversized scalpel! And with an ominous scream, her voice cometh:
"In the name of Thor the Mighty, I destroy all in my path like the world's mightiest bad-ass!!"
*~*~*Skulking over the fields, wielding a bladed baseball bat, cometh Chris! And he gives a bloodthirsty scream:
"Aries, God of War, be praised! I tear into the enemy like a mad dog who can only get madder!!"
